I'm no manufacturing expert but a lot of that sheet metal around the engine bay looks like it was stamped as opposed to custom fabbed, which suggests they had to build the dies for the stamping machine in order to produce. Hard to believe they'd pony up for the cost to just to build a few RSR's. Might bode well for a future road version if true....

Or they used a Cayman chassis which is where I'm tending to lean. A lot of "no wavers needed" been going on with this RSR.

LOL is a cage and what you see as metal is only a cover with white glue

this forum is getting more and more fun
