One thing people often over looked is that a 911 is actually a great car in the snow.

Engine over the drive wheel, great traction, just like a front engine front wheel drive car.

Modern 911 is also very benign when the tail comes out, it's like slow motion with plenty of warning, unlike mid engine cars that can just snap.

Yes, an R is quite expensive, but at the end of the day, it's just another 911, another car, and cars are made to be driven, not to be parked in a climate control garage waiting for the right moment to see and cash in.

today my GT3 got wet and didn't melt. but the pouring here made hydro planing exciting ;;;-)
will have to cldean it up good tmo so i can get it dirty again

Truth.

The 911T in my sig spent a lot of time getting me back and forth to skiing in a safe, efficient, and often entertaining manner.
