Who's Yin? Who's Yang? Porsche 991 GT3 RS and Ferrari 458 Speciale
There’s no way to negate that most Porsche owners have an affinity with Ferrari. Therefore, those Porsche owners with the means to the top of the line 911, either have a Ferrari on their radar or already in their garage. That’s the story here. Yin and Yang RS and Speciale. You decide who's Yin and who's Yang.
The cars are a Porsche 991 GT3 RS and a Ferrari 458 Speciale. The owner of these two fine vehicles is a true driver. The cars are no garage queens. Both cars see regular track duty, road rally action and overall plenty of street and track miles.
The story here is based around the cars’ wraps. The cars had a different design and the owner felt that it was played out. Too many people had copied them. Being a true motorsports enthusiast, he looked to proven motorsport cars for inspiration. This inspiration came from the Falken Formula Drift cars.
Let's take a look at that amazing GT3 RS...
The design based on the Falken cars was adapted to fit the GT3 RS and converted to be nearly monochromatic — minus the motorsport-inspired yellow headlights.
Once the Porsche was all done up, the owner decided he wanted both his cars to match, but at the same time, not be exactly the same. That’s when the Yin Yang idea came about. By reversing the colors and putting the cars next to each other you can achieve that total Yin Yang effect.
The 991 GT3 RS got a white nose and black rear where the 458 Speciale was the complete opposite. Both cars have yellow headlights though.
The results are outstanding. Even thought the design itself is so similar to the Falken cars, because the colors are completely different, it’s not immediately evident.
One or the other will be in this year’s Fuel Run, Monterey Cannery Row, Gold Rush Rally and various Targa Trophy and 70-Mile Saturday rallies. Of course, all this mixed in with plenty of street and track driving.
Both cars were design and wrapped at our headquarters location in Orange County, California. We can wrap your Porsche anyway you like. We’ll even help you develop the design. We have locations in Orange County CA, San Diego CA and Scottsdale Arizona. If you’re too far to bring the car to us, we can also design and print your wrap and ship it to you for installation at your local installer. Nowhere is too far.

Thanks. It's not always you can work on a theme with more than one car. It's pretty fun when we get projects like this. Specially when both cars are different, but so similar at the same time.
