If you go with the carbon fiber upgrade it will probably cost you as much as both arms though!!

Senna was the most impressive modern car at Monterey last weekend. By far.

In any case, I'll just have to settle for 600LT.

I was pleased to join a McLaren track day recently and there were no retirements on a hot day

I drove the orange 650S and was very impressed.

Likewise myself and approx 40 other McLaren’s participated in a track day at Sonoma last August (hot!) and zero issues.

It's also not just fast, it offers real driving pleasure, really nice feedback through the wheel. Brakes require strong pressure like a race car, but then they haul the car down from speed so hard that you think you're on slicks or there is a cable hooked into the rear bumper. I've never felt braking like this, never. This is absolutely next-next level stuff.
Great impressions and video. McLaren is definitely establishing its own identity in the supercar field and it's one I'm really liking.

Very interesting. I've never seen a Mclaren return in the after noon on a trackday, I've never seen them go the distance. Friends of mine sold theirs because there was always something, told me to steer clear ...
And I'd love to be proven wrong desperately because that would open up another brand for me to buy !

Not trying to be a *****, honest question, were you guys really on it in free driving or just out for a casual drive behind a lead car on track (because I saw shirt and tie, shorts and t-shirts, but no helmets) ?

I know there's a few of you. Who's getting a 600LT here?

I'm on the cusp of finalizing my order but am having a tough time picking the color and going back and forth between roof scoop or no roof scoop.

Then I keep thinking of the 675LT Spider since pricing is pretty much the same as a 600LT spec'd the way I want.

Ended up with silver and paying for some of the options I wanted vs 4/9/15k for paint. Did the louvers, left all the rest of the exterior carbon (its appearance, not much for weight savings)...saw the scoop...it's very cool, but not for the 45k plus worth of money you have to spend on the car option wise to get it there (or clubsport plus scoop, which would be 70k). But mine comes in November, so Ill be able to give an early impression!

Congrats on the car, not sure where you are in PA but if close to Philly would love to see it when it comes in.

Nice. What did your sticker total to?

I'm looking at Luminaire Green, Paris Blue, or just going all out and going MSO Bespoke (custom color).

allocations were very scarce...144 P1's sold here in USA, only 120 Senna. there are about 4-5 more dealers now then in 2014-15 so scarce for sure. Our 3 cars in AZ were all selected by McLaren UK and I had nothing to do with it.

I have sourced allocations for a handful of guys, and think after driving it on track (as CAlexio pointed out on his street compare) that the Senna is breaking the "how do I use my hypercar" mold. This thing rips.
