I've got Full leather with the platinum stitch with red belts, caliper, and soon to be red door pulls which should tie together nicely I think with the Blue.

Does the coloured wraps offer equal protection as would the clear films such as Xpel, etc....?

Nope, you need both wraps for paint protection.

I have 3m vinyl on my track car and it doesn't protect very well from stone chips.

So are you saying that if you want proper protection you should apply it over the wrap? If so, is this a common practice?

Doc: No more pics? Thats mean.

A total wrap with dissassembly is around $7K-$9K. A wrap is a modifiable PTS.

I think they would take the clear bra off and reapply new over the wrap. Its fine if its not a satin wrap otherwise I would think it would give a shean to the satin thats unwanted. What I may do now that I'm thinking about it is double up on the satin wrap on the hood and front bumper.

No more pics until its done. We are doubling up on front area to protect area where clearbra would go as i don't want that look over the wrap. Even with double vinyl it is still thinner than some of the clearbras. Total wrap with diassembly by top shop in South Florida is nowhere near 9k. Try 5 all in-with coating.

I had my first track car with 2 layers of Vinyl and it wasn't as strong as clear bra.

Its close, but this is true from what I've been told by the experts. Ideal is to clearbra over the vinyl. Just not into that look. If front gets nicked up from Sebring or PBIR I'll just re-vinyl from bumper. Pick up is Sunday now.

Front of car should have the vinyl, then PFF over it. You lose the PFF if you decide to unwrap, but until then, you keep a perfect wrap without chips, and of course paint underneath stays perfect

Hit me up, we'll go for a ride.
Maybe we can round up someone that can hold a camera!
