Default RS lower bumper painted

Not sure what Porsche were thinking, but this is what the rear of an RS should look like (check any previous gen for confirmation)

I assumed I would be on the fence with results, but in person it's a no brainer. Completely gone is the 4x4 stance, and highlights the beautifully obnoxious 100mm tips and noise produced by this brilliant piece of machinery. So love this car

cheers,
rob

Hmmm... I think I like it! Can you share more pics? Did you do the front splitter? Rockers?

Either way... nice to see you loving it. I can't WAIT!!!! to take delivery.

Take care.

looks great! Any pics from the side view? I also agree, it should have come from the factory painted. just too much black plastic real estate, makes it look cheap! Painted or CF though, looks just right!

Nice work!

I have a white one and there the black lower part of the bumper really makes the vertical lines look strange.
But to be honest it was more of an issue before I got the car. I never look it at now - just driving it.

Please take no offense, but do you not think it makes the a$$ end look too tall? I do agree with some, it would look good in CF. The black just breaks it up a bit.

I have to agree with Bronson. The 991.1 tail lights are narrow compared to last gen. I think the close up phones pics probably don't do it justice, but for me, just too tall

I saw a black ED at the Ring recently - it looked good.

But black is black: Black makes cars look smaller.

Any thoughts of the side skirts and front lip being painted similarly or are you afraid of road rash?
