Porsche database shows car at a German port waiting for a vessel.
Car seems to be ahead of schedule but then again holidays are coming up so that might eat up some time.
Question, how long does vessel take to cross Atlantic Ocean and arrive in Rhode Island? That's the port for us in North East region.

I did not go with the following options. Reasoning for not choosing is listed. Obviously all is debatable but what I came up with! As I stated earlier passing time!
Data Logger: Without video I don't see the point. Already owning and tracking/racing a dedicated race car cannot imagine that I will track the RS that often. I would go with a system it would be an AIM Solo Dl and Smarty cam
Front lift: RS is to hard core for it. Hope this doesn't come back and bit me! LOL
Light weight battery: No thanks don't need any starting or dead battery issues.
Sirius: Don't like the hump on the magnificent magnesium roof!
Am I missing anything?
Like I stated just looking for some friendly chatting

Took the boat with the GT4 9 days from exiting Emden to arriving at the port. It ran into bad weather one day out and that delayed the journey. Another delay was lower speeds for the crossing. And I think that might have messed up the dock. I watched it hover just outside Davisville and wondered if they missed their spot and had to wait for another ship to leave before a pier freed up (I'm guessing here - no way to know). This assumes the marinetraffic web site info was accurate.
Just like when we slow down for highway bumps or rough pavement, boats slow down for bigger waves/chop (and airplanes slow for turbulence). The ship was crawling along at very low speeds for a couple days. It was cool to watch it online.
I totally agree with your choices. Hubby wanted XM/Nav/Sport Chrono. He loves the clock. He wants the radio. I didn't want the "hump" but oh well.... I wouldn't have spec'd any of it - but this one is more about him than me, and I wasn't gonna argue. (My GT4 has none of that!).
Like you - it'll probably (likely) see some track time but not much. Just enough to get a taste.
We went with the lift. Hubby is a nut about scraped noses. It doesn't bother me nearly as much. To me....it goes with the turf and is a consumable. Not that I want to scrape it, but if it happens (as long as it's gentle enough not to damage anything other than a scrape on the chin spoiler) - not the end of the world.
I'm on the edge of my seat for you!!
