Thanks, everyone! I might add that clear side markers are on order at the dealer. When they got ready to replace the orange ones yesterday, they discovered that the ones that fit Carreras, Boxsters, Caymans, etc. don't fit an RS and had to order the correct ones. Had they asked me in advance, I could have told them that, but no worries, the proper ones will be here soon enough.

I installed my set of EdGuard seat bolster protectors yesterday afternoon soon after taking delivery. It was an easy installation, and they look great. Thanks to Crazy Eddie's Bespoke Auto for a great product!

The car will be getting some electronic countermeasures and a NavTV backup camera installed next week, followed by X-Pel clear bra installation.

Sweet! It's every bit as great as you hope it will be. Enjoy!

smuoio; Congrats! The worst part of the wait is now upon you - the home stretch.

I'm still waiting for mine. As of Monday it was still at the port in Emden. It took a little detour to the custom tailoring shop for a couple of CXX options. I think that delayed things about 30-days, so your car may actually have been produced after mine. If its not the last I would imagine its very close to it.

Good luck and enjoy!

I'm surprised to hear there are still RS's in Germany. As far as I've seen all cars were built before December 19. I'm sure many were still in CT after the new year but that was almost 2 months ago now.

Do you guys have your vin? Are they lower than 3339?

This is so unique for a MY16 being delivered well into 17. Does anyone know of another car ever being delivered in the following year it's designated for?

Thanks Lodi, and to you, as well !!! Mine, I think has been done for a while (Vin ending in 3196) - included a longish stay in CXX too. I think I stitched anything and everything in that interior in yellow !!!! I have some aftermarket stuff planned, as well. This is the first one I didn't buy off the dealer lot and have really had a lot of fun with the process.

Lodi, by the way, the Tranquil Ace apparently only left Emden yesterday... perhaps yours was on it, as well ??

Tranquil Ace? Sister ship to the Cougar Ace, right?

She'll be fine...
