Ahhh....Life in Florida!!! You lucky rat!

I can't wait to get back behind the wheel....back on the track. My Happy place

Weather here right now is cold and rainy.....and 'just ugly'!

So you truly get year-round track season? All 12 months..? From what I understand there are some places that becomes too hot. Didn't really realize that was the case.

Some day I'll move to where I can get more 'driving season' out of the year.

That's the best when you get a good friendly competition going in position 'battles'. Truly makes track days that much better. Then sharing 'war stories' over dinner. Good times!

Have fun out there and be safe you guys!!!

In the case of my GT3, I put my name on a list in March, 2013 and placed a deposit in July, 2013 when the allocation was confirmed. THe car arrived at the Port of Houston on 2/11/14, just in time for the stop sale due to the engine problem issue. After getting an engine swap in July, 2014, it was finally delivered to me on 8/7/14.
Holy crap...! Lol. What a Christmas present!!! So awesome bud!

What's the old saying.......'Timimg is EVERYTHING'. Sooo true.

Congrats man!!

Definitely think the air vents (either body OR slats) adds a nice custom touch with a splash of color to a rather low key interior. Which I absolutely love. That's one reason I would buy a Mac. HATE their interiors.

Hope your car car arrives soon; my pics are quite boring compared to your extravagant plans! Can't wait to see.
Thanks my friend. It's been and will continue to be a lot of fun!! Lots of great people involved and will be neat to stand back and see what we put together in homage to the RS.
And don't you dare think ANY photos of an RS are boring!!!! Blasphemy!!!!!
Please continue to post pics. I enjoy seeing them since I'm not such a strong reader
I always want what I don't have. It's a sickness.

latest update....

My car has either already been loaded and left... or will be loaded and leaving the Port TODAY!!!!!!!

It's approx a 4-5 (not considering traffic) hour trip from the Port to my Dealer.

So... worst case.... I'll have her in my garage by tomorrow night.

Temp PPF wrap being applied Friday.

The reason for the temp PPF.... the livery will be fully covered with gloss PPF. So the graphics will go on first. HOWEVER, I want to enjoy the 'naked' white RS for a little bit before putting the graphics on. Hence the TEMP PPF going on Friday.

I expect to have the livery done sometime in late March/early-mid April. Right before the Smokies trip in April.

I'm guessing Phil is so excited about having the car, he is unable to calm down enough to type
Hoping you had nice weather to enjoy it and it's safely in the garage!!

No word on ours yet. Still at port waiting (as of this morning) for Reliable to pick it up. Should be on a truck Friday (but who knows....).

kinda what I was thinking! cant wait to see it once all his tweaks are completed.

So far since mine has made it safely home I have only accomplished a few things:
1. Sharkwerks bypass exhaust
2. clear side markers
3. Red R decals will hopefully be placed tomorrow.

BTW, these bucket seats are a freaking pain in the **** to get out of! When I place my order for the new GT3.2, will definitely get the sofas, as that car will be more of a daily, take the wife out car. Once in them they are great. However exiting is a tricky process! My dad and brother can't even get in the RS because of these seats! Funny.

Hope everyone has good weather soon to get out and drive these monsters!
