^^^ The materials on the new factory rotors are impressive. WAY better than the 997 stuff.
On the brembos, I think he did 2.5 days on the car, and there were no stress or crack marks on the rotors at all. Granted button willow is not that hard on brakes.
On my car (not the same pace as a 991rs obviously) the type 5 fronts have 10 days and still look fresh. Martin is running a few seconds a lap faster than I am, primary braking zone speeds are actually similar, he's just got more sack than I do in some of the high speed areas.

Right.
Without hijacking this thread, I think slotted are better but the 991 OEM rotors are lasting very long, I have 15 days on my second set and even using up used pads and hammering the brakes very hard at Sebring Homestead and PBIR (Derek Bell set all 4 corners just about on fire)they are still not cracked through but they are looking pretty tired.
My rears are original and looking fine.
Awesome pics Martin! Mr Purple FTW!!

I put the slotted rotors on before the first track day. I did 14 sessions with the car and the rotors still look pretty much new. I did have to get used to the RT10 brembo pads as they don't have as much initial bite as what I'm used to with the Endless ME20s. My AP rotors in the front on my GT4 lasted 24 track days and the rears still look good.

Never mind me, I've only heard good things about the Brembo discs, very popular with the regular track guys here
