White Porsche 991 GT3 BBi Safety Package Install & Track Prep



To get this White Porsche 991 GT3 for ready for the track next week, we installed our BBi StreetCup Roll Bar, Seat Base & Slider Kit, and Cobra Racing Seats to properly mount Schroth Racing 6 point harnesses. While the car is still at our shop, we also did an oil change, brake flush, and gave it a thorough detail job. Here are more information and detailed pictures of that we would like to share below.

Next we installed Cobra Suzuka Pro Seats with our BBi Seat Base & Slider kit to install 6 point harnesses and properly secure the driver and passenger.

Seat base & slider install


Our seat base & slider kit features a uniform base plate with an integrated sub-belt mount to accommodate both the wrap around and eye-bolt style. What is the weight difference between the Cobra and 18 way seats?

I don't know about the Cobra seats but I just put in Recaro Profi XL's and they weighed 22 lbs plus Cantrell seat mounts with Recaro sliders were another 10 lbs. The 18 ways were 60lbs per side vs. 32lbs per side for my current set up. 56 lb weight savings between the two sides.
