Default November 3rd and 4th annual dealers business meeting

I understand that next week the dealers annual business meeting with be held. I also have been told that next years product plans are discussed in some depth with the dealers at this time. Anyone know if info on the GT3.2, RS.2, GT2RS, etc., are the type of product plans that will be discussed? Anyone ever attended one of these meetings? I am searching for the sites cleaning crew right now to cut a deal for the information.

Posted in another thread, a few of us on here have good confirmation that 991.2gt3 will be launched in Geneva. Build start for US most likely just before vacation time in germany. So production June- July. Closed in August and then get going again in Sep.

I'm still waiting patiently for gt2rs news. Asked a few different places but came up blanc.

not bad for the 2RS to come up blanc--some say it's the fastest couleur!

I met with the GM last Thursday, inquiring about the 2RS and he wouldn't commit until after he comes back from the meeting, and that they gave them 28 pages of confidential info to sift through before then. He reports they are likely to discuss production dates and total numbers. Meeting him again this later next week but am repared for a vague answer.

GM of Park Place? One of the few good dealers left out there.

As I mentioned elsewhere, my dealer has been allocated 4 build slots for next year starting in July. 485hp. Manual. Wing delete.

I placed a deposit 9 months ago and have the first build slot. Should have it by mid-August.

My guess is if the R was never made, not too many buyers would get a GT3 minus the wing? I would take an R just because of the collectibility .........
In all honesty it look likes a 911 4S, and this is not to take away from the car. So next year I suspect we will see a lot of GT3's with wing delete along with R stripes(:

Looking forward to it. Long live sport wagons.

RS lightweight bits and manual trans rank well above wing delete in R desirability on my scale. If new GT3 is as light or lighter than R and offers same seats I might start to care.

I made the deposit couple of years ago and i was told i am # 2 on the list ..but who knows
Anyways based on my conversation with the GM yesterday, i was told that there was a dealer's meeting couple of weeks back where they were told that the allocations will be out by end of 1st quarter of 2017 and production begins in June-July!
All they know is that it will be a 500hp engine !
