991 GT3 cruise control
Twice I have had the same problem - the cruise control didn't work. I didn't get the icon on the dash when I turned the cruise on, and moving the stalk forward, backward, or upward didn't help. Both times the cruise worked the next time I drove the car. Has anyone experienced a similar problem?

I didn't know my GT3 and GT3 RS had cruise control until this thread.....
I also have a strange addiction to Dodge Vipers and I always remembered guys complaining there was no cruise control option. Then they were happy when vendors started selling aftermarket kits.
I made a note to myself to stay away from them in the paddock if I ever saw them

Will let you know what they find.

First thought when seeing this thread: "GT3 has cruise control?"
I guess I've never even looked. Unless it's adaptive CC, and I'm in my Q7 with the family, then I can't imagine ever using that.

I think the regular cruise control is old technology anyway. I hope the new GT3 comes with adaptive cruise control and a self driving feature. I also hope it comes with " Lap Record Mode " feature in the PCM. Lap record after lap record while eating donuts. Put it in D,set it and forget it!

Adaptive cruise control is a superb feature. My S7 has it. Long trips are a breeze. That said to me it makes no sense in a GT3/RS car. Yeah I would agree that some kind of CC is a convenience but keeping weight down should be an overriding goal.

Well, I don't use the cruise control that often, but there are some limited access highways I use on my way to the track or to the 'good' 2 lane roads. As a paraplegic I have hand controls in my GT3, so when I'm on the limited access roads I'll kick back and let the car do the work.
Speedah, I'll be interested to hear what you find out.
