Interesting to see affinity for 60s and 90s race cars (904-917, GT1). These are my two favorite automotive eras.
I picked 910 from the 60s as opposed to the ultimate 917, because of my perceived non-street registered status of the 917. Besides, the 910 would be more "functional" and drivable for me. Admittedly, I'm not sure I have the kahunas to go 200 mph in a 917.
I did pick the GT1 as the other "one" option. Not having driven one, I wonder how the turbo lag is; excessive lag is a deal breaker. Nonetheless, I think that the GT1 was the opportune segway for Porsche to go mid-engine using the 911 model while preserving the 911 heritage. Oh well, it seems like they're giving a mid-engine 911 another shot as evidenced in Porsche's recent Sebring test.
