What do you use as winter DD car (if you have real winter where you live)?

I love this thread!
I live in CO where we have "real" winters. The only vehicle I drive in the winter, other than my wife's company car ('14 Escape AWD) which I actually love, is my Land Cruiser. I spend a lot of time getting lost in the mountains in both summer and winter.
2003 Lexus LX470
33" Wrangler Duratracs for the winter.
35" Cooper MTs for the summer.

Three Wheelin'
Audi A6 Avant with Continental DWS. Unstoppable no matter what the conditions. Unless snow is over its ground clearance .
I have run an S4 which was fun but much less stable than A6 due to shorter wheelbase and different weight distribution. If you want max winter performance and don't need more than highway-level ground clearance an Audi wagon is about as good as it gets. Subaru is good too but doesn't have driving feel that would satisfy a porsche owner.
That hasn't stopped me from considering a 4runner (for better off-road) or an STI (for more fun).

+1, PA is horrible in the summer or winter(roads). I must be near you PhilT3, Bucks.
Winter driver is a Ram 3500 Longhorn SRW Mega Diesel w/Aisin, but if I get caught in some snow in my awd E63s, it isn't too bad.

Love my CD. I use it as my DD, great mpg, very comfortable and looks great. It has 21" summers but I drop down to 18" set up for winter.
