Good call! In person this color blew me away, and it received tons of compliments.. I think taking time to match caliper color was a masterful move on owners part which made the whole car very special.

Here's on we had at the shop the other day. Got a full-body Xpel Ultimate clear bra... right over the stripes.

Makes sense too. If the front end ever needed repainting the stripes would have to be pulled off to reapply new ones after painting. The full body clear bra will avoid this happening.

Wait! But there's more. Here's a silver one we had that got a full body Stealth film treatment. Again, right over the stripes. The car was basically customized to look matte and got a set of BBS wheels.

The awesome thing is that this also protects its value. After the owner it ready, the clear bra can be pulled off and the car returned to it's stock gloss look. All the while with perfect paint and no scratches. This would protect the factory stripes too.

I know the matte look isn't for everyone, but it's hard to argue against it. Looks pretty awesome.

Anyone have any high quality photos of Jeff Zwart's 911R? Kind of surprised that he still sold his 4.0, but his 911 R looks fantastic!

Hmm, don't the factory stripes and graphics will get pulled off together with the car bra?

Anyone have any info on the CXX options on this Maritime R? Stripe colors, etc? Looks like it was just delivered to Porsche of North Houston.

Finally some sunny weather in Bonnie Scotland. What a fun day of spirited driving. The R really is quite special.
