911R with GT3 RS in the Headrests

On Saturday I took a good friend from Germany on a private tour of Champion Porsche ( ). Absolutely amazing campus including the new car inventory building in the rear (a previous Wal-Mart).

Inside the newest sales center, I spotted a lovely 911R which was sold...as I walked around the front I noticed the seats had GT3 RS on them! At this point I wasn't sure what to think so I asked and it seems to be a factory mistake. Really crazy to see. It did sound like the Factory was going to offer to fix it.

Stunning combo no matter what is on the seats!

I hope they do fix it with the correct 911R embroidery on the buckets seats. That the owner gets to keep those pair of carbon fiber buckets seats as a souvenir.

What a weird mistake!

Not trying to thread jack, but it reminds me of some funky McLaren's I've seen. Due to constrained supply, they would ship us cars with an incorrect part or two, and then later on send us the correct part.

Like how about a 570GT with four different wheels?





Or a 675LT Spider with a 570 steering wheel?
