I put my Jeff Zwart signed print somewhere safe while I read the issue.

Now, 4 days later, I've forgotten where I put it... lost already...

"All new soft cover subscriptions begin with #002"

Gaaaah! My OCD could never handle a bookshelf that starts with a 2!

Wait - does this mean no 004?

Why can't we just get a PDK iPad version. Do you have any idea how slow it is to turn the page? Do you know that if you flip the pages back quickly enough all of a sudden you will get a -- errr -- 'money flip.'

Ok, I lied earlier.

I actually have 1 subscription to 000 that I enjoy reading while simultaneously eating Chipotle burritos without utensils, and I have a separate subscription that I have bubble wrapped as an investment. I need to downsize (limited bookshelf space for toys), and I'm willing to part with my pristine copies of 000, 001, and 002.

Annual Subscription MSRP: $250 (or $62.50 / issue)

$62.50 * 3 = $187.50

Clear Plastic Covers: $5 / each (so pages won't yellow; a must-have)

$187.50 + $15.00 = $202.50

Taxes: 8.00% in my state (obviously need to recoup those)

$202.50 * 1.08 = $218.70

Scarcity Value (out of print) = *2 = $437.40

PM me if interested - love to help you out, brother!

Also, no tire kickers or low-ballers. I know what I have, so don't waste my time.

Oh I forgot to mention I'm actually a broker and have no skin in the game.

Okay, this made me smile. I put things in "safe spots" all the time and then can't find them. My solution was to get rid of a lot of stuff...

Sorry, we're strictly non-virtual.

Ha, apologies. A typo (gasp!) on RL. My service advisor called and said my car was ready, so maybe I was already on the road mentally?

We're a bit odd, with an Issue 0, but not that odd. There will be a 004, and the covers for both 003 and 004 are already shot.

You may be in luck. We still have some Issue 000, and while Issue 001 is sold out, there is a waiting list for a reprint which is looking more and more likely. If we do one, we'll run it with some small tweak on the binding or elsewhere to signify it's a second printing.

I just received issue 002 and am anxious to read it.
I neglected to subscribe in time so I am missing issue 001. Pete, as you suggested, I did contact Rebekah and secured issue 000 and was very pleased that I was able to do so.
What a wonderful magazine, I am so happy that I finally took the plunge.

Latest issue ... now I’m spending time looking at page spreads of con-rods.
(Thank god they’re not fold-outs.)

Pete! What have you done to me??
