Default Silver 991RS Available

Stopped by the local Ferrari dealer today. They just took in a GT Silver RS with 70 miles on trade. It has not been listed because they're waiting to receive the title. Don't know the asking price but MSRP is $193,405. Options are leather interior, lift, pedals/footrest in aluminum, floor mats, PCM with Nav, sound package plus, extended range fuel tank, auto dimming mirrors with rain sensors, sport chrono, light design package, door sill guards in carbon fiber (illuminated), SiriusXM radio, clear tail lights, sun visor in Alcantera, and belt outlets in Alcantera. Car is at Ferrari South Bay. Ask for Eddie (GM) (310) 272-5892. Hopefully a Rennlister can pick it up before it shows up on Cars.com.

I don't think so but I can ask. Maybe the owner changed his car preference waiting for it to arrive. Why would a Ferrari dealer want an RS? I asked the dealer what he wanted for it. He didn't know where the market really was. I told him that production had been extended, where I saw the market, what a build slot was offered to me at, and mentioned that most were ordered with PCCB's. Look at the dealer's inventory. They have very little non Ferrari inventory (5 out of 60 used cars, 3 Mercedes, 1 Rolls, and a 2010 RS). I was just shocked to see it there.

The car will get sold at some price.

if you have an R, you have a 918 in usa,(few exceptions of course)
if i had that balance sheet, i just add a ferrari or anything else for that matter. why bother selling anything. if i run out of room, just build another 40,000sf of garage space....

TRADE IN has many "meanings"

My experience, which is relatively limited but does include very recent experience buying a P car from a F dealer, is that they price things on one side of the spectrum--expensive--or the other side--under priced, like I believe the one I just picked up. Acting quickly and like you just stumbled in and fell in love with it--love at first sight!--on the spot may enable a buyer to get a good deal quickly, as the dealer will want to move it.

All dealers are in the business of business. I have sold ~30 GT's from my McLaren store in the last 6 months. Nothing like knowing what sells!

Thanks for posting this. I called yesterday to inquire since I am local. I was told they want "about" $245k. They are waiting on the title and it may be a couple weeks.
Considering it is minimally optioned, I.e. No carbon brakes, I think 245k is a bit high.

Steve,

I was actually there when you called yesterday afternoon. I would just make an offer you think is acceptable. For some reason they always want to close deals at the end of the month. I would just go in next Friday and see what you can do.

I have seen quite a few cars they have taken in on trade. They usually keep them in service and get out of them pretty quickly (G Wagons, Bentleys, Aston Martins). Their client's 488 just arrived and he probably didn't want or couldn't afford both cars. I bet the seller didn't want to hassle selling the car and the dealership got it for a reasonable price. You can tell from the picture they just tucked it in the back of the upstairs showroom.
