Ugh, I can see a short wheel base sedan and front engine 2 door based on the Panamera or even a two door Macan. More money for GT development.
Without 918 and GT car reputation they would have to price them competitively with BMW and Mercedes and THAT, they can't afford.

This segment is surprisingly popular and PAG (read VAG) cannot afford to ignore it. I remember the first time I saw an X6 and couldn't believe somebody built it. 😱

Neither the cargo space of an SUV nor the road manners of a sedan. Garbage.

Would rather see development time on 960, 2 door panny, and even smaller brother to 911- like 993 sized cars.
Or if none of those. Just spend more time on amazing naturally aspirated engines. Keep them in the rotation for another ten years.

I told the guys at BMW they had some big ***** to rebadge a Aztek. Not a fan of the sharp sloping rear hatch/roofline- really limits what you can carry. To drive something besides a sports car it has to be usable for my needs, which is to carry things I cannot in a 911.

Holy wheel gap!! Gross.
This is a huge market though guys, let's be honest. Women love them, car guys like to buy them for their wives so they still have something to push to the baseball games or for themselves when the old lady says they can't have a sports car anymore. Personally, I just like a nice SUV like the new Q7 or Cayenne GTS... These crossovers sure are ugly.
