Ha yeah - fun desktop pics for work and home computers, too! I have a TV in the garage that plays an Apple TV revolving screensaver of the cars...a fun way to see them without the need for even more wall space!
thx

Default 911R style Mirror

I ordered the Suncoast 911R-style mirror (thinner bezel)...soooooo much better than the RS mirror. And it has a green light on it, rather than amber...here is the before/after...since I got my R, it has bugged me how oversize the mirror is in the RS, and no extra mirror...just a thicker bezel.
Just ordered another for our spyder. Had the dealer do the swap...took a bit and I would not consider this a DIY...but I am extra nuts and would rather have my dealer do it.
Seemed pretty involved.

That's what I call taking care of the tiniest of details. Well done.

Default New OEM Magnesium wheels

Been a while and thought I would update this thread...just got a set of OEM Magnesium wheels and Sport Cup 2 R tires. What a fabulous upgrade and one that you definitely notice. If anyone has a .1 or .2 RS, a terrific upgrade. The wheel/tire package is a very interesting change that requires some attention - the tires like to be warmed up for a canyon run but once there, the grip is really staggering. This has breathed a lot of new life into this car. With just over 6k miles on her now, I am eager to do a lot more driving.

Thanks - this car has been a fun adventure, and continues to be. Just hit 6k miles and it keeps getting better and better.
Had it parked near the 991 GT2RS yesterday and wanted to compare...pretty neat to see the differences....
