Today my son and I had an incredible day to say the least. Started off with a typical meat and pretzel filled hotel breakfast (which was very delicious) followed by a short taxi ride to Zuffenhausen and Porsche. The entire experience of receiving the car and being taken on a personal factory tour was beyond anything we could imagine. It's amazing what this still relatively "small" company can do in such a restricted amount of space, the people and culture here at Porsche are truly outstanding... We then had a wonderful lunch after the tour with a friend that heads the Quality Control department here at Porsche, followed by a visit to the Porsche Museum which took us back in time in a most fascinating way!!! We did a quick drive-by at the Mercedes Museum which we will visit tomorrow along with AMG in Affalterbach. At AMG we will meet the engine builders for my G63 and SL65 Black Series.
We made some serious memories here today, if you ever have the opportunity to do such a trip DO IT!!!!

My neck is in pain but it's worth it!! Great pics and sounds like one hell of an experience and to be able to share it with your son, even better.

I look forward to doing the same one day
