Nissan has tried to incremently inproved the car with engineering imporvements, but the GT-R is over 10 years old.
The performance benchmark was the 997 so it makes sense that it's no longer beating supercars.
A stock GT-R has what feels like noticeable turbo lag and the transmission is terrible--it can't compare with the PDK.
Also, its stuck from the factory with those silly Dunlop runflats.

GTR is heavy, transmission is outdated, plastic interior.....but she just grips and goes! Effortless speed. Still gets as many "looks" and thumbs-up as the GT3, in fact maybe more! Very different cars but fun in their own right.

A Godzilla with bolt-ons, exhaust, and a tune would walk just about any car (except maybe a 720S, GT2RS or tuned Ford GT), especially when running E85. Had a '12 Godzilla, and wouldn't mind a Nismo in the garage someday. Hey Godzillas are always heaver than frogs. BTW a new 2020 Nismo is about the same price of an RS!!!

This is one step above drag racing the GT3RS vs. a Tesla.

Is there between a sedated 992 S and a 992 a go-kart 992 GT3 that is fun to drive?
I was considering a 718 GT4 bit that 85mph 2nd gear!! It s manual and then you buy it for fun but if you will see the 4th gear is because you are on autobahn
Soneone can tell them that autobahn and Nurburgring are just in Germany? Oh its the kool aid factor right
