PhilT3, Your last line says it all.
Congrats on joining us in a great and endlessly challenging sport.
Author Ernest Hemingway concluded only Motorsports and Bullfighting qualified as true Sports - All others were merely Games. I agree with that analysis.
Having reached "Senior Citizen Status" I learned a long time ago that holding grudges are simply not worth the expenditure of Angst or Efforts. Stay with the sport long enough and you will eventually receive all the same snide comments directed at our cars and/or driving that we all do. I prefer to assume that all comments are made with well-meaning intent, either for the Sender, Recipient, or their intended audience. I include K964's - and as such they merit little more than a smile before they are forgotten. Life is simply too short to worry about other's Brain-Farts. Welcome to our little world. We are indeed blessed!
Stay with it and Enjoy it in Good Health!!!

Welcome to the track club. As you've figured out it is a slippery slope that goes deep. As me how I know. Hope to see you out there.

GT3
Add go fast parts remove comfy parts
Start trailering GT3
Start driving GT3 in race groups and pass cup cars
Scare yourself driving too fast in street car
Buy racecar
Buy enclosed trailer
Start racing

And so on

Some end up at "campaign season in WEC" some end up in "divorce" others in "bankruptcy"

It's all good

That's awesome, Phil. I love your dedication to doing things right. Good for you!

I really need to do some tracking and DE days! I'm slacking, and you are reminding me of that.
