Hey guys I am going to be changing my own oil, and am looking for the latest Porsche approved oil list. Searched quite a few threads unsuccessfully, and Google was no help.
Anyone have a link?
I was going to go with Amsoil but wanted to confirm it was on the list.
Also, while I do live in Colorado, the car is never driven in anywhere close to freezing conditions. Probably 45 degrees would be the minimum. And I don't think my garage ever gets below 30 degrees.
Given this situation, would 0W-40, 5W-40, or 5W-50 make the most sense? I am not tracking the car (yet). I was thinking maybe blend 0W-40 and 5W-50. Any thoughts?
Thanks guys!
Rob

I am in Colorado as well, around the Springs area. Where are you? Do you attend any of the monthly activities/car shows? Is your car a daily driver? I can provide you with additional oil related information if you still need additional oil related information. Let me know.
