Default Amazing PTS at Luftgekuhlt

Went to Luftgekuhlt on Sat night and Sun morning. There was an amazing PTS GT3RS on Sat night, colors changed from inside to outside. Added some other random photos, amazing event. Enjoy.

Yep that's the Ruby Star PTS RS from Walter's Porsche! Looks amazing with the 964 RS together. Part of me wishes the 991 RS had silver wheels and uprights as well, but oh well. You got any pics of the two cars together in full view?

Yeah that location sucks. The RS looks even better in person. It should be on the track this week👍🏼

Location was perfect. Cool industrial backdrop for very cool cars. The color IS called Ruby Star. That is what porsche calls it (I know the owner). Its basically identical to ruby stone, i'm guessing changes with the chemistry so the rename.

Would you have preferred the lawn at Pelican Hill?

There is already an event for that, it's called Pebble Beach.

This event, was not that... i think pretty much everyone there thought the location backdrop was excellent.

Paint code is still 82N, german name is still Sternrubin as it was on the 964. I think they just went with the literal translation rather than Rubystone red.

That is possible. I didn't see their build sheet so unclear :-)
I'll ask next time I see him.

Thanks for the update on the color name--wonder why they changed it ?? May have something to do with move to enviro-friendly water based paints (ie hard to get an exact match to the "old" color)

And yes I would prefer Pelican Hill....wife loves it there and her best friend lives at the top of the hill so we could stay for free

I thought location was great. Only those interested in the cars were there on a Sunday. There are other car events in malls and lawns, so this one was different, and location made it more special imo.
