Default Harnesses are in!

Only took 4 months to get!

They are Schroth 6-point for the 991 GT3.

Work well with the Hans III

And the helmet graphics are coming along!

Super excited to get the first season under way!

It depends on the distance from the hans to the mounting points on the bar. Schroth provides a table for the recommended spacing using the split collars vs distance from hans to the bar, generally if the distance is 700mm or more then they should be crossed. Hard to judge from the photos but should be checked to confirm. (I am not an expert but have done a couple of installations.)

I decided not to cross, but think it's just around the recommended distance. Will try with harness on track for first time in weekend.

Had heard the LWB don't work well with HANS so keen to try that too.

i just talked to schroth some weeks ago. 997 and 991 with standard cage must cross. the 2" shoulder belt is only for use with hans or simpson. thisfor i put a 3" at the right seat there you can use an hans or not.

Looks great!

Do you have a part number for the black Schroth harnesses? Maybe you could post a pic of the label on the box. I want to swap my reds for black.

Thanks

That looks great!

So what is special about the GT3 Schroth harnesses vs. non-GT3 specific? Thanks!
