It has Bluetooth, nav, etc. In addition, there is not a heavy unassisted clutch like in the 997 gt3.
Sorry 997.1 c4s to 991 gt3 ....

Understood. I was just pointing out the previous generation gt3 was not a great daily driver due the very heavy clutch. The 991 gt3 is a huge step up from your 997- go for it!

I agree with OCturbo, the gt3 is kind of underrated as a dd, the ride is a lot smoother than expected, can still blend in, and can definitely survive the bumps and what not, haven't scraped my front yet out here in MA, don't know how it is elsewhere

Almost impossible to avoid at my driveway entrance, which seems to require city agreement to change. I am not sure I would happily take the car into Manhattan based on my experiences out here on the big island. Interest ly, though, our one trip down the Belt Parkway involved no scraping despite the fact it has no even stretch. You can seriously get down Storrow without scraping?

Aside from that one issue, the car would be perfectly good as a DD.

Definitely stay in touch! My father is a physician, worked at University Hospital for 15 years.

Ya definitely different experiences based on different locations so one will always have to survey there own roads. I haven't taken it down to the city of boston yet, so don't know how it would hold up over there. But out in the suburbs and the highways have been scrape free !

I'd be more concerned about destroying tires/rims on the Belt Parkway than any kind of scraping.

I take that back. I'd be more concerned about getting hit by another driver there.

Closest call so far (in that car): Palisades Parkway. The Belt is bad, which is unfortunate because it must once have been a pretty road. I was concerned about the splitter because of the unending roadworks, especially down near the salt marshes.
