Just had my first oil change in the GT2RS. It was the first one my dealer had performed. It's a three hour process and the rear bumper and a lot of other stuff needs to come out to get to the oil filter. It took them completely by surprise and they have sold 11 GT2RS's and have three more on the floor. The first service is free however.........they informed me that the 2 year service is estimated by Porsche to be a 10 hour process. They said they don't even have the service manuals yet for that service. Starting to remind me of my Ferrari days.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who finds these bolster covers incredibly difficult to install. at 9:15, matt says he's already 2 hours and 45 minutes into the install of something that is advertised as 5 minutes per side. and he hasn't yet done the driver side at that point.

Greenwich Porsche has 3, well now 2 since I bought one. 😉

Anyone running Hoosiers on their GT2?
Since I have transitioned to 19 inch Forgelines over ST CCM rotors on my .2 3 RS I can't go back to street tires! |
Anyone in the US receive their carbon fiber steering wheel for the 2RS yet?
|
Mine is at the dealer ready to go... no appointments though, booked in mid october.

I was just contacted by my SA and he indicated the order was placed for the CF steering wheel but no ETA yet. Post pictures when you have it installed. BTW, do they change the steering wheel or just attach CF bits to the existing wheel?
|
Yes, I got mine about a month ago, looks great!
