Awesome seats! First time I've seen those SV type seats in a Huracan.

Congratulations. If there is one car that will entice me out of my RS, it will be the Spyder version of the lp580.

Looks like a really cool car! Have a blast with it until the next itch needs scratching. Keep us posted on your experience and get some video!

yeah. was ordered to match the SV we got... they are "SV carbon buckets"... snug but not too snug, very comfortable believe it or not.

i'll take a pic of the SV seats in a little and upload... they are a little nicer as the leather is white on them... (SV white)

i need video of the exhaust... i did the meisterschaft Super GT exhaust in Titanium. (they Dyno'd it before and after and added 55hp/62tq) the base dyno for the 580-2 was actually only 12hp less than the 610-4 (i assume cause drivetrain loss on the 610)..

the exhaust in standard mode has no pops and burbles.. but sport or corsa... every lift of the throttle gives insane pops and burbles... and each shift with a pop... at night it shoot a constant flame under WOT and pops a nice 3-4' flame at each shift...

i also ordered full coilovers for it and wheels... but the 2016 front shocks are different than 2015 so they had to take measurements and re engineer the coilovers... the black wheels (20") are in chicago but i havent had time to ship them down.

Love it, I too thought of it as well, but never dared pulling the trigger. I think it's more special than an F car, but would have the GT3RS in a heart beat instead, but I will never pay over MSRP.
Congrats on a very special car

Congrats! Beautiful car.

Can't wait to see what you are going to write about this car in 6 weeks

Is there any other option to Porsche GT cars that you can go to a racetrack and not void the warranty? And tt the same time it would not ruin your wallet?

not sure how fellow 991 GT car owners feel...

but, to be completely honest, when i first hopped into my 15' GT3... i was astonished and in love... the changes to the transmission's shifting/downshifts/intuitiveness was enough to make you fall back in love with PDK... but after a month... maybe it was 6 weeks... you start to get used to all that and it starts to feel like a Carrera again... but a little more direct.

Hopped over to a Superleggera (08') to try and take the Raw'ness i missed from 997.2 GT3 but increase the power, increase the harsh inputs and maybe get something that always leaves you begging for more (997.2 GT3/GT3RS!!!)... and while

while it was Raw, Rude, Crude, and i often explained it as the car that would f your wife, and her sister and then try and kill you... the feeling you get from a Porsche was not there, it felt solid like a 991, raw like a 997... but maybe a little too italian... the details were very nice however (all the italian words, the extreme fonts on the instruments).

in comes the 16' GT3RS... more raw than the GT3, so much mid range torque your foot starts to find pleasure in sliding around corners again without break neck speeds, the seating position of the carbon buckets SUBLIME and they now offer height adjustment for the nights you drink a little too much and the ms. has to drive it home... Top end doesnt scream as loudly.. and you feel each and every shift as a kick to your spine.. BUT... 8-12 weeks into it, you sit back and say "all this money for 50hp and a few inches of width"..

so the GT3RS went to the dealer, the Superleggera went to the same dealer... and picked up a Huracan 580-2... one that a friend had ordered in november to match his SV (white, carbon buckets, louvers on the back, front lifter, backup cam+sensors, full suede interior w/ Red stitch/Brakes)

here's a pic of his SV with another 580-2 that landed that day, mine to come in a week..

the AWD huracan was quick but not very raw.... test drove the 580-2 pictured and it was quite exciting and tail happy like a 911...

anyone else going the lambo route considering the extreme prices of the GT-P cars ?? honestly does anyone think the GT3RS is a good deal @ 275k? or the standard GT3 at 150-175 considering the available comparables (market price obviously)

i think the best vehicle as far as driver involvement and fun will still always be 997 (997.1 GT3, GT3RS, GT2RS, and 997.2 GT3/GT3RS) but those prices are clearly showing everyone else is thinking the same route.
Congrats on the Huracan! I've got my eye on one myself. It's the ultimate weekend toy car IMO

But I have to ask....why in the hell did you buy an RS with no intention of tracking it....?!?!

No offense, but I'm blown away at how many people buy the GT3/RS but don't ever track them!! IMO it's a complete waste and takes an allocation from someone (me) who wants to use it on track as well as street (50/50 as its not a Cup Car). There is a reason P makes and sells over 20 versions of the 911.....there is a version for every use case!

And now to quote AC SATCO - I'll see myself out now....

I have the awd Huracan and the GT3 RS. I would have a difficult time getting rid of the RS and just keeping the lambo. Maybe the rear wheel drive is THAT much better. I don't know.
