Ruf SCR4.2 GT3 Mezger Water-Cooled 525HP In Classic CTR Shape
I didn't know where to post this since this is a highly modified 993 base, has the silhouette of the classic CTR BUT is powered by the water-cooled GT3 Mezger motor enlarged to 4.2 liters with 525hp+ with 6 speed manual Ruf/GT3 gearbox. It also has huge carbon brakes. Body is mostly carbon with an optional carbon roof. It retains the original length of the iconic CTR but has the wheelbase extended by 50mm in the rear (see the shorter rear overhang) and 20mm in the front for increased high speed stability. Quite a package when you consider the much smaller frontal area, more horsepower and lighter compared to the new 991 based 911R. It also benefits from the more compact dimensions when maneuvering through traffic or parking. Truly a wolf in sheep's clothing! The body has subtle mods such as discreetly wider front flairs that you have to look twice at to see the difference. Definitely not the car to announce yourself. This car is descreet and subdued. Car is painted Tangerine with psychedelic cloth inserts. I think the perfect Ruf! Top speed is about 340kmh.

WOW! Just Fricken WOW!!! Usually my eyes don't pop out of my head but just WOW.
LOVE that Baby/Powder Blue on the Turbo and retro design on all of the cars. And then taking the rear view exterior mirrors off the door's metal and mounted further up the car in the corner like older Porsches near the A Pillar.
But the Double wing on the number 7 race car looks almost Cartoonisht.
Out of all of the cars I would take that Lite Blue Turbo. Just tell me the price then throw me the Keys Please, if I could ever afford one!!!

Here's their link to see more photos and technical data of their new cars:

The blue car is a twin-turbo air-cooled with 590hp. It is on the standard wheelbase. The yellow double wing 1997 CTR2 raced at Pikes Peak that year. I agree about the wing! Here's a link to it:

The blue car can be optioned up to 620hp. The car at the show has a mostly carbon body including the roof and stock wheelbase. You can see the difference in wheelbase to the Tangerine car (+20mm front, +50mm rear).
