Radio reception
This question is not for those who never turn on the stereo and view their cars as track toys only. For everyone else kind enough to respond: do you get decent FM radio reception in your 2015+ GT3?
With local stations our other cars (M3s, ML) can lock onto static free and strongly up to a good 40 miles from the source, the GT3 has trouble at nearly any distance. I get rhythmic static, as if the waves are being received only at certain points in the amplitude. I can listen using BT Audio and the net, but I'd quite like to use the plain old radio! We drove from Baltimore to NYC today and the lack of radio was consistent, so it's not just NYC stations giving trouble. We have a multi-day drive planned in April and would quite like to solve the issue by then. All thoughts welcome

Nothing should be interfering with the windscreen, which does contain the antenna. I will definitely ask about the reprogramming. Off to the dealership we go! Thanks all.
Bronson: I still listen to CBC, even beyond the programs we get on our local NPR station. When in GTA: Q107 until I can't stand the commercials any more. Firstly, I think they still have Kim Mitchell doing a show sometimes and that pleases me no end. Secondly, I am desperately afraid that their old slogan "if it's too loud, you're too old" might be true, so I need to test it when possible. I need the radio working for when I come back up in the summer!

Yeah, the BT Aux is fantastic. I also keep a couple of 64G memory sticks in the glovebox, one rock and one jazz. But sometimes I do want to hear the radio! I find it goes well with the car's own soundtrack.
We drove it five hours today in heavy rain. It was oir longest trip yet, and in lousy conditions. I am still getting used to it as a vehicle, but what a hoot it is so far! I am really starting to think I may want it to be our vacation trip car when a third seat isn't needed.

Given the noise level in the car, listening to music is usually a lost cause for me but I do sometimes crank up NPR on FM. I've noticed no problems with reception. If your various input sources like CD or AUX are noise free but you have noisy AM/FM reception you may have a poorly grounded antenna connection.

Noise? What noise? The car just sings along with the music. It's in better tune than me! It is primarily NPR I want to hear via radio, and I am curious as to what the problem proves to be. I hope it is as simple as the antenna.
