Almost missed out on a GT3RS...
...but at least I got to ride in a helicopter tonight.
Had some discomfort working out. Shortly thereafter being airlifted to the Cath lab. 100% blockage. Resting in ICU now. Could have been a lot worse.

Not to get too personal, and glad you're ok. But any warning signs in hindsight that we could learn from? I mean, 100% blockage? And just all of a sudden? Risk factors? Age, family history, high cholesterol etc? These kind of stories scare the --- out of me. Especially if you work out regularly and have no risk factors...

Most definitely not the classic, severe symptoms we all read about. Had I tried to "tough it out" things might be very different right now.

I was interesting. I was working out and started to get what felt like a burning sensation in my trachea. I've felt this before when I Would sprint 400s in track practice in high schooler. I was asthmatic then. I didn't think much of it until my TNJ regions started to feel off. Mind you, no real pain, only discomfort. I was weak but had no shortness of breath or diaphoresis. My instinct said to get to a doctor and I went to the walk in center where I knew the doc and asked for an EKG. EKG looked off and I was rushed to my local ER. New ER doc told me my EKG looked ugly and that I was to be transferred. Helicopter to another local hospital and had cathederization through R arm and stent placed. Sitting in ICU now, feeling completely asymptomatic.

Good luck Dr. G and all the best for you and thanks for sharing because it could help others to survive knowing about these things!
