We are going to test fit the 20 x 9.5 et50 GT3RS front wheels on a Turbo which we think will be more aggressive.

We have brought this to the attention of BBS. Once our test fit is complete they will more than likely be ordering more 20 x 9.5 et50 front 991 GT3RS wheels to pair with the 20 x 12 et44 rears.

Will keep you guys posted.
Hey! Any update on test fitting the RS front to the Turbo S?

Agreed.

Is the mag wheel lighter AND more rigid/durable than the aluminum?

Mag may edge out the aluminum in rigidity but durability would go to the aluminum construction. Aluminum as a material is much less susceptible to corrosion and so does not need to rely on coatings which in the real world are themselves susceptible to degradation. The net material is also more malleable and possesses memory so that lends its staying power in regards to fatigue.

That being said, both finished products are TUV approved and finished to an oe level of estimated life so heat treatment and all other material and production processes are optimized per component and it comes down to this: the FI-R is the maximum expression of a forged aluminum wheel in terms of weight, bringing with it aluminum's inherent properties of durability, and the mag wheel is the ultimate expression of a forged magnesium wheel in terms of durability, bringing with it magnesium's inherent properties of being the premier material for constructing the lightest wheel possible. As the mag will have extra material to help it be durable, it will be a little stiffer. The aluminum has reduced material but still durable because of being aluminum.
