I personally would use water transferring. As showing in my other post tight radius are so smooth.

That is awesome. I wonder how easy/difficult it would be to remove and if it offers any sort or protection

Not sure but I can tell you that video makes it look easy, takes LOTS of practice!

So Jimmy stuff like your radio bezel or any other bits and pieces that you want to look cool, they can be done.

They sure do make it look easy. Wonder how durable it is?

For car interior water transfer might be ok but exterior parts that get any abuse I would be cautious.

TechArt are not true full CF replacements. I inquired and was told directly from TechArt dealer they too are basically a CF wrap, atleast for the parts I inquired about (side intakes and wheel well vents for a .1 RS). That was fine by me - I need to improve my driving before saving 5 pounds would make any difference at all... I jut like the look.

A five pound reduction in weight in any Porsche street car would not even make a difference for the greatest driver in the world.

Have you seen TechArt "carbon" in person? It looks terrible.

DB Carbon looks OEM. Quality workmanship. Could care less if it is an overlay

I've seen DB Carbon in person and I agree, it looks OEM. I'm talking specifically about TechArt, which is trash.

Then it is purely cosmetic motivation and not weight loss

Cool stuff. Thanks for posting. Threadjack: I just want all my plastic exterior bits wrapped in gloss black to match my door handles and lower mirror. Has anyone done this? Is it possible to wrap the rear deck piece on 3RS with Porsche logo embossing still visible? I spent 30K on carbon motorbike parts years ago and got it out of my system. Thanks RL.

I did see the TechArt in person - I went with DB Carbon! My only point was that I did it for the looks, not weight savings.
