Do you guys put a clear bra over the wrap to protect it from track work?

Considering I'm leaning heavily toward Gelbgrun PTS if my order comes to fruition, I can't wait to see this!

Wow that was torn apart real quick. 16 miles already pulled apart? Love it, haha!

I love things like this too. When I got my R8 I drove it from the dealer to my detailer, had the paint corrected, Premiere Satin Guard applied, pulled the ECUs to have them tuned and did a new exhaust. A friend of mine asked me if it would be better to drive the car first to compare it to the tune and exhaust after it was done. I wasn't interested in comparisons

[QUOTE=Slip;13024602]This is how you treat a 1 day old RS with 16 miles on the clock....

[/QUOTE

This needs to be posted to the "proper break-in procedure "

Hi Slip:

What is advantage/difference from cup bonnet to the RS original one?

Would be nice to know what motivated you to do this swap ...

Thanks and have tons of fun!!!

Peter

PS: I still do like white

No real advantage, I just prefer the more aggressive look of the cup cur bonnet with the dual naca vents, particularly on the RS. The cup car bonnet in the pics is a matte black wrap leftover from when it was on my GT3. The matte black is being removed as it's white underneath. That way I can leave it on the car if / when I decide to change back.

Thanks !! Looking forward to it all being completed as I haven't even driven the car yet. It was sent from the dealership to the wrap guys on the back of a truck....

Around a week and a half, I've got them covering everything as I don't want to see any white when I open panels etc so it takes a bit longer.

I'm having the full suntek clear wrap put over the whole car after the green wrap is completed. The standard wrap isn't that thick and will get beat up on the track.
