I'm going to grab a lawn chair and my computer and work from this intersection tomorrow.

I'm a big NFL fan, been watching the NFL network every evening and notice lots of TV camera shots showing the rock. IIRC in one of your pics from your place a while ago, you also showed the rock. Was wondering, how far do you live from the stadium? How crazy is it around your place?

Stadium is down in Santa Clara, it's 40 miles or so from the city. The craziness lies in the fact that Super Bowl city, which is this fan attraction they set up (all the blocked off streets in the picture). This is just down the street a mile or so, is blocking off the main exit to south of the city so leaving home is an insane exercise in circumventing downtown. I'm not sure why they are taking pics of Alcatraz, maybe because it's iconic, but the actual Super Bowl is way down in the peninsula.

Not to go OT: But every Super Bowl should be played in New Orleans. It has the best setup with the Quarter and other SB week venues within walking distance of hotels and restaurants. IMO- The Big Easy throws the best parties.

Only been to 1... SB 24.. Jo Mo & Jerry, Rathman, Craig, Taylor & the Defensive general Ronnie Lott #42 55.. Elway 10. I think the spread was 13 points favoring SF. I went w/ my grandpa and made him stay until the last play. Boy was he not happy having taken Elway and the points. "I knew SF was good, but Elway was suppose to be good." All I could say as a 7 yr old was you can't beat Joe Montana. Sometimes kids just see the truth.

Great video BTW!

[QUOTE=jpoint;12981361]If you lived in Chicago you'd A) make a contribution to your alderman's campaign fund B) take a sledge hammer to the drive in just a few spots C) call your new alderman buddy and ask what could be done about the damaged concrete in front of your place D) "suggest" to the city crew that was sent out to replace your driveway that they re-contour it to work for your car.

Us Chicago residents just have a way of dealing with obstacles/opportunities the good old fashion way - although I am from Jersey
