Since NJ law states that you can not pump your own gas - I prefer to go to a gas station where the employees are friendly and courteous. The QuickChek near the office is 24 hours, many pumps, and has a friendly staff - so thats where I usually fill up.

There’re a few places in SoCal, but generally, they're in the valley or up north. In CA, you can’t pump E15 free gas (track excepted), but they can sell you prepackaged amounts.
There’s a 76 in Newport that used to have 100 RON. May pay a visit there soon.

I end up going to the station closest to my house. It is new and always busy so the gas should be fresh, how many people are fueling with 93 at that station I am not sure.
The closest Shell stations are 20 minutes away and not really on my way to anywhere that I go, so I typically don't use them unless I am already near one. Around here, Shell is the only top tier fuel that we have. A couple of stations are ethanol free, so thanks for posting that website.
