It's unfortunate that Porsche isn't as flexible as some of the other manufacturers when it comes customization.
It's not "hating" to point out facts. I own and have owned several high end watches. I could not care less how a man spends the money he has earned.
To that effect, I applaud this guy's *****. Short of a true PTS, I cannot think of a better way of getting the paint color he wanted. The RS is not a holy relic.
He liked the idea of a bright orange but was disappointed with lava so with Porsche uk they came up with this fantastic project.
wtdoom, is the color McLaren's volcano orange? The reason I ask is the color model he's holding in the second photo is the exact same shape McLaren use to show off their colors. Plus it looks to be a very close match to VO. I like it and it's a popular color for McLaren's.

No matey , it's not volcano orange . It's a completely unique colour actually named "worrange" it pops more than volcano. The shape he is holding is something used by some paint shops here in the uk to show curves etc at the beginning of the colour selection process

Thanks for info. I like it. Probably why the guys in Woking use the same shape!!
I personally love just the simple fact that someone is willing to go and just do what they want no matter what it costs. Kudos to the owner and awesome colour
