Brake rotor performance and durability is a matter of design and metallurgy which most our customers do agree that our center mount is better than those traditional surface mount that can dump the brake heat more efficiently.

See design comparison detail here:
https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...l#post13069941

Metallurgy involves composition (carbon & alloy) contents and micro-structure which is closely related to the casting process which we use only Horizontal molding machine for a better and more uniform casting than of Vertical molding machine.

So I am confident to say that RB builds better rotors, and this is supported and witnessed by those who purchased our replacement rotor rings (for Brembo BBK) and those who have used both.

We have shipped two piece rotors to those heavily tracked communities such as Corvette, Camaro, CTS-V, GTR, STi & EVO with a solid record* for more than 10 years and this is hard to beat.

*Excluding some failure caused by customer's retrofit that deviates to the rotor was designed for.

MoVit on my 12c and Cayman. No wear and no Fade. Wont ever have to change the rotors out. Endless pads for the track.

Talk to Tom at MoVit and never look back.

After two weekends at Mid-Ohio my Girodisc rotors are fine. No sign of any cracks.

Bumping this from two years ago. Question 1. Did anyone switch to performance friction rotors? 2. Do they require the use of performance friction pads?
