I think for your basement TV where we are all sent some times for a time-out - I think it would be brilliant and I would do more bad to spend time down there

All kidding aside - if this thing has blue tooth capability I bet you they would sell 100 of them in 30 days for a bunch of our garages

They're all sold out for the holiday season. I moved heaven and earth to get three ahead of the dealer here and they're all snapped up within the hour...

Initial marketing (in the UK) claims a limited run of 50 units.

I call bull.

Porsche Design already has an ETA for the next batch: March.

How good is the sound of this thing? Compared to a 3000euro hifi stereo??
Say bang olufsen for example, does it compare??

I'm pretty "in charge" at my house, but this would definitely not fly with my old lady.

I don't understand the "gotta have it" factor with this. The GT3 muffler isn't really an attractive piece of automotive engineering...aftermarket systems with tig welded mufflers look much more attractive. I think a GT3 wheel subwoofer, or some other more attractive part of the car re-imagined would have been better. The center exit is cool, and I understand the "sound" aspect of it, but honestly it would look extremely out-of-place anywhere outside of a man-cave and it likely sounds only a fraction as good as a comparably-priced conventionally designed speaker.

I have a video I shot listening to it at the Porsche Experience Center Gift Shop in Los Angeles (after thrashing on a GT4 for some wet skidpad joy).

It's not worth watching the vid. I was underwhelmed. It is a cute idea, but remember, this is the one piece of the GT3 you should be discarding as soon as you get it (along with the orange signal markers). On goes the X-pipe.

I'll admit that I'm an audiophile, but even if I weren't discerning, I'd be disappointed.

Thanx neuroguru, perhaps a Naim Muso for a fraction of the cost is a better idea.
