I've never heard of Porsche allocating cars out nine months. The only reason I can see them doing this is to show people they are building more and to slow the price jacking.
My brother got the call today - MSRP September 2016 production, 2016 MY. Note = Canadian order.
UV is availrable to order it seems!!!
Congrats, super late build and UV. And proof that allocations are still trickling out. There are so few of these cars they must be spacing them out for a reason.
I just wish they'd get to work scheduling V170 PTS cars.
Sadly, I'm pretty sure no more allocs are coming. In fact, there wasn't even a second wave, just holdbacks from the first wave that were slowly released by regional reps for various reasons (incentives to dealers, rewards for meeting sales targets, etc).
(First wave came immediately after the 918 Spyder VIP wave.)
No proof of new allocations. Just moving around of existing. I got a late allocation too, but it was someone else's originally. I have no doubt there will be some allocations traded, moved around, etc. that is different than new allocations from pag/pcna
I still say allocations are done.

EXACTLY. I just received my allocation and am told its a Feb build. So this piticular car has always been slotted for that build date for some time. This car was a "bucket" car that Porsche NA was holding onto.
