1-If you are big (mainly tall, I am 6'4"), your neck will hate you as you get in the car. The roof line drops a lot and unlike the 911, I have to tilt my neck all the way to the left to avoid bumping my head, works most of the time.
2-Once in, it's like a fitted glove. A fraction more room than the LWBs in the RS.
3-Turbo lag is mild but evident. I got over it. More noticeable than the TTS but still OK.
4-Acceration is insane.
5-Acceleration is really insane. If it didn't have turbo lag, it would compete with the 911 Turbo. And that's with rear wheels only.
6-Steering is one of the best I ever had. Incredibly sharp. I hate to admit it but it is, without a doubt, more direct and precise than the GT3/RS.
7-Ride quality is superb in the softest setting. Awfully harsh in the tightest. Like the M cars, you can set your own parameters, so I have sport exhaust on, Sport+ transmission and throttle response and comfort suspension.
8-The exhaust is the best that AMG has ever made. I traded in my S63 and the difference is very noticeable. Idle sound is sublime. The burbles and farts are much more natural than what I had in the Panamera GTS!!
9-The interior is gorgeous but they missed the mark when they used an iPad-like screen for navigation, wish it was better integrated. Very comfortable and I think long trips doable. Golf clubs fit easily. Beautiful car, long hood and all.
10-Handles incredibly well in spirited drives and dare I say, close in characteristic to the 991!

Bottom line is I love the car and if it wasn't for the neck problem during entry, I would have said "I'll keep it forever".
Thanks for the review. Looks to be a good DD GT type of car for those looking to keep their GT3s during the week in their garages

Yellow belts, silver stiching, black uprights are exclusive option, RS decal deleted and substituted with Nuerburgring decal in yellow

Great Car! I was going to go with UV but had a change of heart and went PTS Maritime Blue - car arrives in March or April. I see you are in Dubai and getting it detailed - who is going to do this for you? I am going to do the same thing and also get some Paint Protection Film installed. Not sure who to use at this stage though...

Hi - just got it detailed today by a guy called Jonathan from wet reflections - very good and he also does film!

Did you have to pay for the black upright? My dealer says $1600 for this option but the build sheet does not show the price. Wonder if dealers are gauging us? I was also told $1300 for the yellow door pull but the yellow stitching package includes the yellow door pull.
