As for sound it seems most people think the side delete is louder. I have only heard videos.
In regards to power, Dino charts showing down to 2k indicate there is a loss below 3k. I personally think this is correct but maybe not esaly detected by your but.
I finally ordered and will install this week GMG headers & center bypass.

I don't know that those numbers are real or not, but they don't show a dynograph and most likely is that's because even if they give slightly more horsepower at 3900rpm, what happens in the rest of the rpm range? Lower torque numbers in the lower rpm range and probably falls off at the end of the rpm range as well. Matt aka Money did a bunch of testing and videos look for his threads on exhaust using the search button. He has done the community an incredible amount of goodwill in his search for the perfect exhaust and I think you'll learn a lot from his videos. But the overall consensus is that keep the side mufflers and do a center delete, which one is up to you based on your preferred sound and exhaust tip aesthetic preferences.

I had the GMG high flow header and cats, side delete and center delete on my 997.2 GT3 RS and it sounded like a cup car! I actually had to put the center back in to make it quiet enough for me to drive. I personally think just the center delete would have been perfect.
As for the change in hp, no idea nor could I tell a difference in any of the configurations.
While everyone seems to assume no loss of low end torque going from stock to SW, no one has ever submitted an apples to apples dyno chart between the two that I've seen. While SW says there is no loss of low end torque, how can they know that without a dyno comparison? And if they've done one, why can't they show it?
Side muffler delete pipes ,less heat near the rear tires and a huge weight saving,,,,not to mention having some extra space under there helps when working on the car

I'd imagine any loss of low end torque would probably be made up by the reduction in weight (~15lbs) from switching out the stock exhaust and putting in a bypass (any bypass, SW or otherwise).
Not saying that there is no loss of low end torque, however.
