The few used I've seen at dealers in Canada have been "asking" more than what the 991 RS msrp starts at. Not sure what they sold for though.

I agree. A rare find - wont see many with so few miles. A collector car.

Atlas Grey or Grey-Black(A4)? Grey-Black was an upcharge color on 997.2 RS whereas Atlas Grey would be PTS so you probably want to confirm.

Good point. I assumed grey-black since he mentioned the red accents.

Not trying to go off topic. Everyone should get what the market will allow. What's the difference between asking way over MSRP on a 2011 RS vs 2016 RS? There are a lot of complaints about taking a 100k profit on a brand new vehicle, shouldn't there be whining about taking 70K on a 5yr old car?

I think the separator is that a lot of people tried to get allocations on their 991RS and got denied so the markup is added salt to the lonely wound. We all had a shot at getting immaculate 997RS cars.

991RS: "sorry we have no room on the boat"
997RS: "If you missed that boat it's your own fault"

This one sold for $322K which is probably ~$80K over what the owner paid. Its not the end of the world. If you have the cash buy one.

I didn't get an allocation for a 997 RS 4.0 b/c there were no more available, essentially no room on the boat. However I'm not whining about the acquisition price. It is what it is. If you want to sell your RS 4.0, I'm sure it's north of 400k. You put the money down and the risk, you deserve the benefit. Its not unreasonable to expect market value whether it's a 2011 or a 2016.

What's annoying about the 991RS is the 918 program along with the dealer BS of selling allocations to each other and many stealerships bypassing buyers on their waitlist and selling to the highest bidder or spec'ing the car themselves. Did that happen with the 997 RS cars?

Today I went and saw the car and took a few photos as well as the build sheet. I had misquoted the color which is actually Grey Black. This car is new in every way and has lived it's entire life in a temperature controlled house. Actual mileage is 1020.
