Default Need to feel better about that expensive sport chrono?

If you are bitter about that expensive sport chrono on your dash, take solace in that Bentley sells a dash clock for the same price as a well-optioned GT3. At least it's a Breitling. No mention of tack app.

Fantastic. The Sport Chrono keeps better time in the Porsche, but this... Not so much. Now if it was a Breguet or a Lange & Söhne... Still would not keep better time, but perhaps the price tag would be worth it as long as it had that mythical tourbillon (that doesn't help accuracy anyway).

Just goes to show that the whole tourbillon frenzy has jumped the proverbial shark.

Would rather see a dashboard mounted mechanical watch that indicated the required service intervals, as well as telling the time. Now, that would be interesting. Tourbillon, or not.

Agreed. Fusee mechanisms are more accurate, but you can't "see it" easily. Even then, quartz always wins.

...and I'd still like to see a car company program an ECU to variably set the rev limiter depending on where you are in the break in process...

...but I guess the clock, excuse me - timepiece, on the dash is much more important.

Hmmm. Dunno about that one, Doc.

If I'm dating a hot supermodel, I wouldn't want her to come equipped with a chastity belt on our first date. Cuz, y'know, there may never be a second date where I get to take her to redline.

If you know what I mean.
