I don't understand why you would trade a GT3 in on a TT unless you regularly have to drive the alps or rocky mountains in snow-covered conditions 5 months out of the year, with passengers in the rear seats all the time.

TT is a fantastic car, the GT3 is and shouldn't be for everyone.

Done that in reverse tts for RS (picking up on Monday )!! My personal view is if you don't track or will never track tts is perfect and super quick ...for me the track bug got too much for the tts ...great for 3-4 laps then everything cooked ... Really don't get why anybody gets a 3/RS if they never want to track it ...save allocation for those who do ..

I find it amusing that people come to the 991 GT3 forum to ask a question about '07 GT3 to TTS. Clearly this group is seen as all-knowing on Rennlist. (Because we are).
I'd stick with the GT3, myself. (SURPRISE!)

I just traded my gt3, which I loved for 2016 turbo. I literally just drove home from the dealer, so I can't exactly give a thorough comparison but easily what I can tell Right off the bat, I'm shocked how much faster/harder the feel of its acceleration is compared to my gt3. I honestly wasn't expecting such a difference. No way is the steering or throttle response as direct as the gt3. Sound, that's obvious.
Personally I knew I would have another gt3 but wanted to experience something different which the turbo certainly is. I also wanted to have my kids in the back with me. Lastly turbo is obviously a better dd but I loved the gt3 as a dd as well. Gt3 is the better track car but I'll likely be faster in the turbo. Looking forward to hitting the track with the turbo to see how it compares.
Basicly, they have very different charectors, depends what mood your in. One is not better than the other, just different
Guess I need to update my avatar, not sure I'm ready

I was offered very good $ for my 15 991 GT3 by a P dealer without a trade so I began thinking about something else or nothing and put the $$$ in investments- - I have had 23 911s since 1982 including an 04 and 07 GT3- I think Porsche has lexusfied many of the current 911s- maybe because the age of the buyer has changed - the GT3 represents what a performance car should feel and drive- THAT IS WHY I HAVE ONE- I will not track it either.
So it is that PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
