Default Base GT3 allocations...??

Are folks still getting regular GT3 allocations?

I keep seeing comments on this forum that GT3 production is done.

But, I recall seeing new allocations as recently as a month ago.

Back in March..my dealers GM (25+ years with the brand) 'promised' me I'd get one by next (2016) Spring. At that time I was third in line. So, they have my deposit and I've been waiting patiently. Just about 3 weeks ago I got a call from my sales rep letting me know I'm now 2nd in line.

Now, I'm also watching the used market as I'm thinking if I don't get an allocation by April/May 2016, I'll simply pull the trigger on a used one.

Share your thoughts.

Buy a used car you like. If you get a new allocation take it and sell the used one. You shouldn't lose much money if you get a used one at around MSRP.

I got one last month, in speaking to many dealers it seems like production is most likely to end in December, but a lot were saying they had heard rumors of production extending to Q1 of 2016, was not confirmed when I spoke with them though and this was 2 months ago so don't know if they found any clarity on that since then

At this point, since I live in the northeast, I'm going to see if the market softens at all over the winter as the car will just sit in the garage anyway.

So some GT3 in the PCNA queue to be distributed
but the point is
production is over

otherwise we have to explain
a non sense of jeopardized production
