Just recently received a card/letter from Porsche Cars Canada stating my VIN number that my vehicle needs an update. It does state that in no way does this update jeopardize vehicle safety. I called the dealership service department to book an appointment only for them to tell me my car does not need any software updates. Who do I believe? Has any one received a similar notice?

Mine just had its one year service and oil change and the only notice the dealer had from Porsche was:

- Tighten threaded connections for FA air line.

Nothing about software update.
