The increasing problem for manual will be to find a peer group of cars to compare it with. Yes, yes, we are all purists etc, but people still want to see performance figures, and there is endless discussion in thousands of forums about the XXX GT being faster (however defined) than the YYY GT, and how the XXX is perfect and the YYY is garbage and so on.
In the end, this stuff DOES affect sales in the marketplace, and though the GT4 would refute this argument, its numbers are small. Manual is becoming a niche and a rarity at the top of the market and Macca's comments above are wise.
